Personal data processing information
This notice explains how VOLNIK, skladiščenje, d.o.o. processes personal data received through business enquiries and when you use this website.
Data controller
The controller is VOLNIK, skladiščenje, d.o.o., Dekani 3A, 6271 Dekani, Slovenia. You can contact us at info@volnik.si or by calling +386 41 632 392.
Data we process
A business enquiry may include the contact person’s name and contact details, company name and address, tax and excise numbers, delivery location, quantity, message content and later business correspondence. To fulfil an order, we may also process details about the transport company, driver and vehicle, and information needed to prepare delivery documents.
Purposes and legal bases
We use data to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations or contracts, arrange deliveries, communicate with business partners and meet legal obligations. Where an individual asks us to take steps before entering a contract or enters into a contract with us, the basis is those steps or the contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). For business communications with company representatives, the basis may be our legitimate interest in responding and managing the business relationship (Article 6(1)(f)). Where the law requires processing, the basis is a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
Enquiries by email
The form on this website does not send data to or store it on Volnik’s web server. It opens your email application with the information you entered; you send the message yourself. Once it reaches our mailbox, we process it for the purposes above. Your email application and email provider may process the information under their own terms.
Recipients and transfers
Access is limited to authorised people who handle the enquiry or order. Data may be shared with email, hosting and technical support providers that help operate our systems, and with competent authorities where the law requires. If you choose to play the video, your browser also connects to YouTube (Google), which processes player-use data under its own terms. We do not sell personal data. If a provider transfers data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer must rely on an appropriate GDPR transfer mechanism. Contact us for details about our email provider and any transfer.
How long we keep data
We keep enquiries and correspondence for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up. If a transaction is concluded, information forming part of business and accounting records is kept for the periods required by law. We may retain information longer where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your personal data; where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object. Where the legal conditions are met, you may request data portability. Send requests to info@volnik.si. Cookies, local storage and video
The website can remember your light or night-mode choice in your browser’s local storage (key volnik-theme). This preference is not sent to Volnik. The YouTube player loads only when you choose to watch the video, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. When you click, your browser connects to YouTube (Google), which may receive data such as your IP address, browser information and player usage under its own terms and privacy policy. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean that YouTube receives no data. The Volnik theme does not add analytics or advertising trackers.
Automated decisions
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing of enquiry data that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
